Warlick/Hall Engineering, Inc. is a consulting engineering firm, founded by R. Douglas Hall, PE.  The company was started in 2001 and is based in Hernando County, Florida.  This office is involved in all facets of structural designs including: office buildings, schools, churches, apartment buildings, mid-rise condominiums, industrial buildings, bridges, seawalls, retaining walls, commercial signs, curtainwall, and storefront designs. We also provide structural steel detailing services.  Materials used in our structural designs include but are not limited to: aluminum, steel, masonry, wood, heavy timber, and concrete.  Warlick/Hall Engineering Inc. currently averages over 300 projects per year.  As of March 2008, with our current work load we are estimated to exceed last years total project number by 30-40.  Our achievements of successfully completed projects have allowed us to thrive as a business in order to provide complete structural design services to our clientele.

Structural Design and Steel Detailing:

 

2008    Cypress Garden Amphitheatre

A forensic study on the partial collapse of the Amphitheatre located on the Cypress Garden property.

           

 

2008    Key West Harbor Yacht Club

Engineer of record for 377 dry slips accommodating vessels up to 50 feet in length.  In addition, we performed professional services on auxiliary structures to include generator stands, forklift stops,

 

2008    Naples Harbor Yacht Club

Engineer of record for 680 dry slips.  We utilized a hybrid foundation system of spread footers and stingray anchors to resolve uplift loads in the most economical way.

 

2008    Jacksonville Harbor Yacht Club

Engineer of record for structure capable of holding 149 vessels up to 45 feet in length.  A helical anchor foundation system was utilized to resolve poor soil conditions.  We also value engineered the clubhouse in structural steel saving the client both time and money.

 

2008    Tampa Harbor Yacht Club

Engineer of record for a steel structure capable of supporting 773 vessels up to 50 feet in length. 

 

2008    The Swan Adult Living Center

            A concrete rehabilitation project of a structure constructed in the 1960’s.

 

2007    Montreal Saputo Stadium

Prepared a complete steel detailing package for fabrication and erection of two grandstands for the MLS expansion franchise.

 

2007    University of Central Florida Football Stadium “Bright House stadium”

            Performed a 3rd party design review of a 45,301 seat facility located in Orlando

 

2007    Toronto Soccer Stadium

Performed a 3rd party design review during the construction phase of a 20,000 seat facility that recently played host to the 3rd most watched sporting event in the world, the FIFA U-20 World Cup.  This facility is also the home of Canada’s National Soccer Team and Canada’s first MLS team.

 

 

2006    Robotic Parking, UAE

Designed and detailed an 8-story robotic parking structure located in Dubai on the         Saudi peninsula.
